Understanding
The MCP tool can already construct a bounded graph from explicit documents,
but the installed CLI has no corresponding command. Supervisor can safely
compose its sanitized observation records only if the transport accepts a
single closed JSON envelope over stdin and performs no implicit discovery.
Execution plan
- Add a
discover CLI command over explicit {sources, query} input.
- Preserve bounded discovery errors as structured fail-closed output.
- Extend packaging metadata checks to cover declared console targets.
- Verify positive stdin/file and negative duplicate-source paths.
Actual changes
- Initialized the bounded ticket and recorded SESSION_EXECUTION_AUTHORIZATION
from the request to execute this work.
- Added the fixed
discover CLI adapter for one explicit JSON envelope from
stdin or a named file.
- Preserved bounded discovery failures as structured stderr with exit code 2.
- Extended packaging closure to declared console entry points and verified 136
complete tests plus Ruff and governance.
Blockers
- None inside the recorded intent; proceed without a second confirmation.
- New authority remains required for destructive action, secret access, new
external coordination, material objective expansion and trusted merge.
